Is the clinic accepting new patients?
New-patient applications are being accepted. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, roster placement, or establish a physician-patient relationship — applications are reviewed according to clinic capacity and physician availability. Apply online at spfamilyclinic.com/register or call (780) 570-8797 for help. Please do not send personal health information (symptoms, diagnoses, medications, health-card numbers, dates of birth, or identification) by email or through this website.
Can I email my health-card number, symptoms, or documents?
No. Do not send personal health information — including symptoms, diagnoses, medications, health-card numbers, dates of birth, photos of identification, or medical documents — by email or through any form on this website. Our administrative email is for general administrative questions only, is not a secure channel, and is not monitored for emergencies. Please call the clinic instead.
Do I need an appointment for a walk-in visit?
Walk-in visits do not require an appointment. Usual walk-in hours are 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday (availability may end earlier on weekends). Availability may change on any day and the queue may close earlier because of capacity or physician availability. The queue is only open when it says so on the live status on this website — usual hours do not mean the queue is currently open. Please check the walk-in page or call the clinic before arriving.
What should I bring to my visit?
Bring your Alberta Health Care card if you have one, an up-to-date list of your current medications, and any document the clinic has specifically asked you to bring. Please bring these documents in person — do not email or upload them.
