Accessibility statement
Sherwood Park Family & Walk-In Clinic is working to make its website usable by everyone. This site is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and is not independently certified. The items below describe design goals under active testing rather than guaranteed outcomes.
Statement reviewed July 2026. It will be updated as the clinic opens and testing continues.
Keyboard navigation
We aim to support keyboard operation of links, buttons, form fields, and menus. Testing is ongoing.
Visible focus
The design includes visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
Reflow and readable contrast
The design uses reflow and contrast choices intended to support WCAG 2.2 AA for body text; testing is ongoing.
Comfortable touch targets
Touch targets are designed for comfortable use on mobile.
Reduced motion
Reduced-motion preferences are respected for nonessential motion.
Semantic structure
Semantic headings, form labels, alt text on meaningful images, and live regions for status updates are included and continue to be tested with assistive technologies.
Physical accessibility
Details about the physical entrance, parking, and in-clinic accessibility are still being confirmed. If you have specific needs for your visit, please call ahead so staff can help.
Report a barrier
If you encounter a digital accessibility barrier on this website, please let us know so we can look into it.
